Position Title: Peer Support Specialist               Location: Harnett County            

Qualifications: A consumer receiving or previously received mental health services is required in this role. HS diploma or BA/BS in human services; prefer experience in mental health field. Should have paid or volunteer experience with adults with SPMI, skills and competence to establish supportive trusting relationships with persons with mental illnesses. Valid NCDL. 

Responsibilities: Observe behaviors and communicate observations and make recommendations, effectively communicate in oral and written form, evaluate and document progress and present to treatment team. Lead group meetings and discussions.
