Helping Students with Emotional Problems Succeed

This edition of Insights featured an article titled, “Helping Students with Emotional Problems Succeed.”  The article, written by Martin Henley and Nicholas Long, first appeared in Classroom Leadership: Teaching All Students in August 2006.  NAMI North Carolina obtained permission from ASCD, the Association for Supervision and Curriculum Development, to reprint the article in our newsletter but not to post it in an electronic form.

The article focuses on strategies for success for students with emotional problems and includes practical ideas on “what works.”  For a copy of our newsletter, Insights, please contact Linda Swann at NAMI North Carolina, 1-800-451-9682 or lswann@naminc.org. Please include your mailing address. Thank you.
