NAMI North Carolina is excited to be a part of the national walkathon program, NAMIWalks for the Mind of America. NAMIWalks in the Triad will be held May 5th at the Triad Regional Park, near I-40 between Winston-Salem and Greensboro.  All NAMI Affiliates in North Carolina may participate, or you may form a NAMI NC Team.  We need your participation to make this year’s walk a great success. 

Check-in Time:  8:30 a.m.        Start Time:  10:00 a.m.             Distance:  2.5 miles

·    To register for NAMIWalks, go to the NAMI website at ww.nami.org/namiwalks, click on North Carolina and follow the links to register as a Team Captain or Walker. 

·    Contributions can be made directly online at your Walk page site.

·    Contributions can also be made through the NAMI NC website .

Use your story to open minds and hearts to mental illness. Write letters, emails, talk to neighbors, businesses, get posters in stores - do your part to raise awareness about mental illness and funds for NAMI NC. We still have time!

Directions to Triad Regional Park, Kernersville

From Greensboro: Get on 1-40 heading West. Take the Sandy Ridge Road exit (exit number 208).  Make a right onto Sandy Ridge Road and turn left at West Market Street.  Keep going until you reach 9652 W. Market Street.
